Amenfi East Municipal Chief Executive Pays Working Visit to Two Communities.

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Amenfi East District of the Western Region, Honourable Frederick Korankye today joined the chiefs and people of Wassa Abrotreye and Nkrumahkrom to lend support towards their self-help projects initiated by these two communities. 

The MCE donated 50 bags of cement and joined the communal labour to begin the construction of a 3-unit classroom block at Wassa Abotreye.

The MCE used the opportunity to encourage the people to be punctual and commit to regular communal labour to enable the community to complete the project on time.

He promised to donate a half tonne of Iron rods in the coming days to enable the community to complete the project.

The MCE from Abotreye visited the people of Nkrumahkrom where he had donated 90 bags of cement in his previous visit to enable the community mould blocks towards the construction of a six-unit classroom block. 

The community has moulded about 2,000 blocks and preparing grounds for the construction to begin in two weeks.

The MCE pledged his full support towards the project to ensure the project is completed on time.

The MCE was accompanied by the Municipal works engineer Mr Frederick Kurankyi Taylor.
