Akufo-Addo Has Neglected People Of  Ankaful-Saltpond! -Nana Kwame Ntsiful V Declares

Chief of Ankaful-Saltpond, a suburb of the Mfantseman Constituency in the Central Region of Ghana, Nana Kwame Ntsiful V, has accused the government of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo of neglecting them.

The chief decried over lack of development in the area, saying that his community's neglect in the sharing of the national cake.

The Odekrow recounted his community prides itself as a place where fisherfolk's premix fuel in the region and the country at large is majorly extracted, but can't boost even common thrash bins, not to talk of schools and other vital developmental amenities.

He disclosed that the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in its second term and currently enjoying office as a political party can't pinpoint a singular project in his community (known to be a fishing hub) as their own, as he consequently narrated his area for years now has witnessed a consistent pushover when it comes to development within the Municipality.

Speaking on an Accra-UK based Rainbow Radio monitored by Soireenews.com, Nana Kwame Ntsiful V noted; "I will be extremely surprised if the NPP as a political party can point onto a single project in my community as their own, as even common premix revenue due the community which is meant for developmental works has for a long time now been taken upon by only God knows who, as all our efforts in reclaiming this money having issued out series of letters to the Regional Directorate all turned futile."

"Ankaful-Saltpond as a community, talk of the country's revenue mobilization has for years now grown to become an immense contributor to the growth of the nation, as most of Ghana's premix fuel and fishes are derived from here.

"But l always shake my head in grieve when l get to realize my community is benefiting not even a penny from all these revenues generated from our lands," the Chief who equally doubles as Kwaprow-Cape Coast Mpuntuhene chide.

The Chief bemoaned the fact that it iom this his abandoned community the constituency's current Member of Parliament (MP), Honorable Ophelia Mensah Hayford together with its Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Honourable Isaac Lord Ennu all hails from, who at the expense of Ahyemfo-Ankaful have turned to become rich, leaving the community the need for all these years.
