Speaking to the people, they, therefore, appeal to the Minister of Communications,  Honourable Ursula Owusu Ekuful to provide the Agyina community with a rural communication network mast to enable them to connect to other people in the world.

Agyina Residents Cry for Network Communication Mast.

The farming community of  Agyina which is mainly into cash crop farming especially yams, cashews and mango production in the Kintampo South District of the Bono East region is crying for social amenities. 

The population of Agyina is about two thousand six hundred and fifty (2,650) people and shares a boundary with Wenchi Municipality in the Bono region but lacks so many social amenities to make their life comfortable.
 
The residents bemoan that, there are a lot of challenges facing their community which include lack of telephone mast, poor road network with erosions eroding their environment.

Some of the residents from Agyina who spoke to the media shared the frustration they go through especially on the issue of the commutation network which has been a major challenge in their community making people climb on trees to access network receptions either to make calls or receive calls from their love ones.

Speaking to the people, they, therefore, appeal to the Minister of Communications,  Honourable Ursula Owusu Ekuful to provide the Agyina community with a rural communication network mast to enable them to connect to other people in the world.

They also mention one other challenge which is the poor road network making the farmers in Agyina find it difficult to transport their food items regularly due to the poor road network and erosions also have been eroding environment.

They, therefore, appealed to their Member of Parliament Honourable Alex Gyan and their District Chief Executive Honourable Opoku  Nyame to provide them with these social amenities they are complaining about.

Speaking to Nana  Kwadwo Yeboah, the Okyerman of Agyina also added that, some of the challenges they are facing are the lack of telephone mast and poor road network is a big problem in Agyina but appealed to the authorities especially their Member of Parliament to do something about their challenges facing to solve it for the people.

The Assemblyman for the area, Honourable Gyabaah Daniel also known as Fanby also appealed to their Member of Parliament to talk to the Minister of Communication to provide the community with a telephone mast a major challenge they want the government to solve for them and also fix their road network and also construct their drainage system to prevent erosion in the area and other social amenities.
