Adwoa Safo is the cause of Ghana's economic woes Dome-Kwabenya Polling Executives

Adwoa Safo is the cause of Ghana's return  section of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) Polling Station Executives(PSE) of Dome-Kwabenya Constituency is attributing Ghana's return to the International Monitary Fund(IMF) to the deliberate neglect of duty by the Member of Parliament(MP) to attend to her parliamentary duties.

This, according to the group, has accounted for the non performance of the economy which could have been rescued by the passage of the Electronic Transportation Levy(E-Levy).

The group said the situation was so dire that the government was left with no option than to fall on the IMF to salvage the dwindling economy.

The group bemoaned her attitude which they described as unfortunate and a show of one who is not ready to render her constitutional duty to both the constituency and the nation at large.

The disgrantled polling station executives narrated some incidents that preceded the passage of the E-Levy adding, "Adwoa Safo was flown down from USA but she locked up herself in her house and no one was able to get access to her.

Even when the Chief of Staff, Frema Oppare went to her house, it took this woman a long time to come out to meet with her. Painfully and regrettably, even when she finally opened her gate, she did not allow the Chief of Staff into her house.

All these level of disrespect has led the economy of the country in a terrible state. Adwoa Safo is to be blamed for all that.

The aggrieved executives mentained the absentee Dome Kwabenya MP was the reason the government returned to the IMF because the MP has pushed it to that uncomfortable corner.

According to them, if the MP were to be present in parliament, it would have enabled the swift passage of the e-levy bill into law and would ensure they rock in the needed revenue per the government's projections.

They maintained that the party has a solid, more capable and winnable candidates to led the constituency.

The group maintain that Adwoa Safo's attitude is making most of the electorates loss interest in the party.

The possibility of skirt and brouse is very high if Adwoa Safo is still presented by the party. Being the biggest constituency, a loss on its hold will endanger the chances of the party in the upcoming 2024 general elections.

"From 2012, Adwoa Safo electoral fortunes which used to record more votes than the presidential candidate, dwindled in the 2020 general elections", they bemoaned.

This simply means that they disclosed, the delegates and electorates within the constituency are fed up with her", the polling station executives further added.

This outburst was occasioned by a comment believed to have emanated from the MP's quarters which was published on an online news portal, seeking to explain that the MP's long absence from the law-making house was due to two "sad events". First, the publication indicated that the MP lost a child during childbirth.

Secondly, the publication explained that while the MP was nursing her pain for her loss, she again received a distressed call that her son had taken ill which condition risked making him unable to walk, so she had to stay back and attend to him.

But the polling constituency executives believe that the explanation was one of a concoction and must be taken with a pinch of salt.

They maintained that the Dome-Kwabenya constituency has solid and winnable candidates to withstand the might of the NDC candidate whom they said is fast gaining ground within the constituency.
