Nana Addo's Darling Boy Causes Confusion at Awutu Senya West
According to the Group, "Mr Eugene Arhin is so wrong to be led by apostles of 'skirt and blouse' chaired by Mr Joseph Aidoo who also wants to be appointed as the DCE for Awutu Senya West," the concerned members of the NPP stated.

The Director of Communications at the Flagstaff House, Mr Eugene Arhin has incurred the wrath of the group calling itself Concerned Members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for Awutu Senya West Constituency in the Central Region.
The members of the NPP could not fathom why Mr Arhin should be lobbying for Mr Joseph Aidoo to be appointed by President Nana Addo Dankwa Addo-Addo as the new District Chief Executive (DCE) of Awutu Senya West District Assembly.
According to the group, looking at bad precedence exhibited by Mr Aidoo during the 2020 general elections which had characterized the defeat of the former New Patriotic Party Member of Parliament (MP) for Awutu Senya West Constituency, Mr George Andah, it would be a disaster for the NPP if Mr Quaye is appointed the new DCE of the area.
"We are saying that the Apostles of skirt and blouse campaign cannot lead Awutu Senya West," they fumed
"Mr Eugene Arhin is closer to the president, we are aware but he abandoned this constituency for the past 4years and now what is his interest?
"He (Mr Arhin) claims he is from Awutu Senya West yet he can't speak Senya or Awutu, how does he then understand his people if what we are hearing is true that he wants to contest as MP."
"Mr Arhin is so wrong to be led by apostles of skirt and blouse chaired by Mr Joseph Aidoo who also wants to be appointed as the DCE for Awutu Senya West," the concerned members of the NPP stated.
The members who were led by Mr Kwashie Pobi and Nayi Ando in a statement copied to Soireenew on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, pointed out that "Is it not sad as a party to champion a move like what happened in the 2020 elections? We are calling on the president to appoint a neutral person to lead the constituency, not a 'skirt and blouse' preacher nor someone with a middle school leavers certificate like Hon. Stephen Quaye, the current DCE," he said.
According to them, "We have Awutu Senya west at hearts, any individual who wants to cause the district so they lead must be flashed out.
"Leading a district is a serious business and needs someone who is firm, neutral, and selfless to lead and not Mr Joseph Aidoo who is an indecisive and a dull person," the statement concluded.
However, several efforts made by this reporter to get Mr Arhin to respond to the allegations levelled against him were not successful as the incessant text messages sent to his Vodafone mobile phone number has not been answered.
