Adansi Akrofuom District Assembly Distributes 10,000 Hybrid Coconut Seedlings To Farmers Under PERDP

The Adansi Akrofuom District Chief Executive (DCE), Mr. Jonas Maurice Woode, after a short presentation ceremony, said the free distribution of coconut seedlings was part of efforts towards helping to achieve Akufo-Addo led government’s industrialization agenda policy.

The Adansi Akrofuom District Assembly in the Ashanti Region has procured Ten thousand (10 ,000) new hybrid coconut seedlings for free distribution to thousands of farmers, under the Planting for Export and Rural Development program(PERDP),rolled out to support farmers in the district.
The Adansi Akrofuom District Chief Executive (DCE), Mr. Jonas Maurice Woode, after a short presentation ceremony, said the free distribution of coconut seedlings was part of efforts towards helping to achieve Akufo-Addo led government’s industrialization agenda policy.
The Adansi Akrofuom DCE advised beneficiary farmers not to sell the seedlings but used it for its intended purpose.
