Speaking to some residents in the community, they explained that, the bad condition of the classroom block has compelled the teachers in the school to hold classes under trees and uncompleted mud structures and as a result of that, there is no effective teaching and learning during rainy seasons for lack of shelter for the school children.

Adamsu Presby Junior High School Study Under Delapidated Classroom Block.

The residents of Adams a farming community in the Jaman South Municipality of the Bono Region are calling on their leaders especially their Member of Parliament Honourable Williams Okofo Dartey, the Municipal Chief Executive, Honourable Andrews Bediako among others to come to their aid to provide them with classroom blocks for their Presby Basic School.

The school with a population of about four hundred and fifty 450 pupils, can only boast of a complete three-unit classroom block that was built for the Junior High School.

This building which was constructed in 1948 for the people of Adams is now in poor shape and needs urgent attention.

Speaking to some residents in the community, they explained that, the bad condition of the classroom block has completed the teachers in the school to hold classes under trees and uncompleted mud structures and as a result of that, there is no effective teaching and learning during rainy seasons for lack of shelter for the school children.

The students also complained of roofing water leakages and floods taking over the school especially on the unfinished floors of the classrooms when it rains.

They, therefore, appealed to the authorities in the Jaman South Municipality as a matter of urgency to come their school aid to provide them with befitting classroom blocks for teaching and learning as the children struggle to study in the dilapidated classrooms.
