According to Stonebwoy, Tyrone Marguy's success defies the notion that all Rastafarians are up to no good

Stonebwoy, the singer of the song "Into the Future," has sincerely congratulated Rastafarian student Tyrone Marguy on his excellent performance and 8As on the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) this year.

According to Stonebwoy, Tyrone Marguy's success defies the notion that all Rastafarians are up to no good

In 2021, Tyrone became well-known after it was first decided not to grant him admission to Achimota Secondary School, primarily due to his Rastafarian appearance. In order to guarantee him a place at his preferred school, legal action was necessary.

Since then, the majority of people have been following Marguy's development, thus it was understandable when a video of him checking his WASSCE results online and receiving eight asses went viral yesterday.

Since then, many have applauded him and sparked discussions on how Ghanaian society needs to be more accepting of Rastafarians once again.

Like many of his fans, Stonebwoy has also joined his voice to congratulations, stressing that Marguy's academic accomplishments remove the stigma associated with Rastafarianism.

He tweeted, “Congratulations – This Continues to Defy The Odds That All Rastas Are Up To No Good. 10 VIP tickets for You And Friends- Let’s celebrate On Friday at the Stadium”.

Marguy graciously responded to Stonebwoy's offer of thanks by accepting the invitation to the BHIM Concert.

Because of their dreadlocks, Marghuy and another student, Oheneba Nkrabea, were first turned away from Achimota School, a story that made headlines.

Marghuy, who fought for Rastafarian students' ability to keep their haircuts, was eventually allowed after a court struggle. It seems that his most recent academic achievement will give his kind more confidence going forward.
