Captain Smart Detained By The National Security
Captain Smart has being detained by the national security service after he was granted a bail of Ghc 50,000.

Blessed Godsbrain Smart popularly called Captain Smart, and other Onua Tv employees have been arrested and detained by National Security operatives shortly after he was granted bail.
This comes after a hearing at Accra’s Circuit Court on Wednesday, February 2, 2022.
Captain Smart and Eric Daniels Dadzie Copperfield (DJ GH Boy) were charged in Accra’s Circuit Court 6 on February 2. The two were granted bail after they pled not guilty to two counts of extortion and abetment to extortion, respectively.
Around 10:45 a.m., the court granted them bail, and the investigator in charge of the case took the four sureties to verify their addresses.
The media personalities were granted a Ghc 50,000 bail with two sureties By an Accra Circuit Court earlier today.
He was all smiles and hearing home when National Security officials swooped in and whisked him away.
Captain Smart who was charged with two respective counts of extortion and abetment to extortion pleaded not guilty and was granted bail only to be arrested and detained By National Security.
Videos posted on the official Instagram page of TV3 saw moments Captain Smart was entering the security vehicle.
Another slide captured the famous personality sleeping face down on a mat on the floor of the police cells.
It is uncertain why he was re-arrested after the court granted him bail.
Lawyer of Captain Smart, Mr. Martin Kpebu told the court that his client was an anti-corruption crusader who had become a victim of the forces of corruption.
Mr. Kpebu believes his client was set up and made to look bad because of the work he is doing for mother Ghana.
