Yvonne Nelson writes, "Father, DAD, I'm still waiting for your call"

 She states that she is still waiting for her dad to call in what seems to be an impassioned appeal.

On Thursday, October 12, she tweeted, "Father, DAD, I'm still waiting for your call."

The message, which has now gone viral, has once more sparked debate over who the actress from Fix Us' real father is.

The book's focus, however, changed once Yvonne Nelson revealed that she had an abortion for popular Ghanaian musician Sarkodie on pages 88–95 of Chapter 8 of her book.

The news of Sarkodie and Yvonne Nelson's relationship made headlines in both social and traditional media, overshadowing Yvonne Nelson's fervent desire to learn more about her biological father, the primary motivation behind the creation of her biography.

In "I Am Not Yvonne Nelson," the Single and Married producer explained that despite what her mother had led her to believe for many years, a DNA test had revealed that she was not a Nelson.

Following the results of the DNA test, her mother was persistently persuaded to find out who her biological father was. She later identified him as the late Peter Ala Adjetey, a former Speaker of Parliament.

Much to her chagrin, the results of another DNA test to determine whether the deceased statesman was in fact her biological father likewise came back negative.

It has been a wild goose chase since she pressed her mother to reveal her father's identity in response to the unexpected development.

Since she hasn't spoken to her mother since her 37th birthday in November of last year, Yvonne Nelson claims that her mother's refusal to reveal her biological father has harmed their once-beautiful mother and daughter relationship.
