Abandoned Library and ICT Center Calling for Renovation to Benefit Ledzokuku Students

The family of the late Nii Nortey Dua, journalist, advertiser, communication expert, and former member of parliament for the Ledzokuku constituency, is echoing a plea to the government to renovate the abandoned library and ICT center that he constructed during his tenure at the Teshie Northern Cluster of Schools. The center, which was intended to benefit the students in the constituency, has unfortunately fallen into disrepair.

Since the passing of Nii Nortey Duah on December 21, 2017, the library and ICT center have been left unattended, depriving the students of Ledzokuku of an essential resource for their education. The family is now urging the government to take immediate action to renovate and revive these facilities in honor of Nii Nortey Dua's commitment to education and his vision for empowering the youth through knowledge and technology.

The library and ICT center, when renovated will be a hub for learning and technological advancement, but has become a sad reminder of neglect and missed opportunities.

Education is the foundation upon which a prosperous and empowered society is built. It is, therefore, crucial that the government recognizes the need for investing in educational infrastructure, particularly in areas where access to quality resources is limited. Revitalizing the library and ICT center would not only bridge this gap but also inspire future generations to strive for academic excellence and technological innovation.

The family of Nii Nortey Dua calls on the government, educational authorities, and concerned stakeholders to join hands in renovating the library and ICT center and transforming it into a vibrant and modern facility for the benefit of Ledzokuku students. By doing so, we can honor Nii Nortey Duah's legacy and ensure that his vision for an educated and empowered constituency thrives.

The family remains hopeful that their plea will be heard, and appropriate actions will be taken swiftly. Together, we can uplift the educational landscape of Ledzokuku and pave the way for a brighter future for students in the constituency.
