Premier League Champions, Liverpool will play promoted Leeds United at Anfield in the opening fixture of the English top-flight league before facing Chelsea and Arsenal in Matchweek 2 and 3.

 

 

Manchester City (v Aston Villa) and (Burnley v) Manchester United will not participate in the initial fixtures as they recover from their Champions and Europa League participation, four weeks before the new season.

The two sides were on assignment whiles the rest of the league clubs refreshed themselves for the new season few weeks after the season ended.

Spurs will host Everton in London whiles Fulham welcomes Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal at the Craven Cottage.

Full fixtures of matches will take place on September 19, meaning, City’s first game will be against Wolves at the Molineux and United will welcome Crystal Palace. Liverpool will visit the Stamford Bridge against Chelsea as Arsenal play West Ham United in the London Derby.

Merseyside derbies will take place on October 17 at Goodison Park and February 20 at Anfield. The Reds will face Manchester United on January 16 after taking on Manchester City on November 7 at the Etihad.
