The Vice President of Ghana, His Excellency Dr Muhamadu Bawumia on Saturday, October 30, 2020, met Party faithful and the Zongo Community at the Suame Constituency to unfold the good episode of the New Patriotic Party if they are given a second term in Ghana's administration.

In his message, some of the key points embraced by the people were government’s decision to provide student loan to those willing to further their education to the University and the continuity of the 50 students from Zongo, deprived and inner-city communities selected to study medicine in Cuba to help bridge the infrastructural and development deficit between Zongos and other communities.

Dr Bawumia assured that the NPP government have better implementations during their second term and for that reason, he expects the full support of the Zongo communities on December 7 to vote enormously for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and the Parliamentary member, Hon Kyei Mensah Bonsu.

He also advised that people in the Zongo community must take advantage of the free Senior High School to educate their children to become responsible in future, unlike the previous years where the youth were abandoned due to the expensive nature of schooling. He informed that lots of projects are in line to develop the constituency yet its execution would depend on their commitment to the NPP in the upcoming election.

He added that 2000 street lights are being installed to brighten every corner of the Suame Municipal.

The Ashanti Regional Chief Imam, Sheikh Abdul Mumin advised that all the Zongo communities should be united and hope for wisdom and knowledge on the government to be able to run Ghana to the highest heights.

He prayed against any untimely death prophesized by persons on the President and his Vice.
