The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary candidate for Awutu Senya East, Honourable Phillis Naa Koryoo Akunor has declared her full support for the "fix the country" campaign.

According to the Parliamentary candidate, Ghana needs fixing for the reason that the country is now in a terrible state with no assurances for the next generation therefore Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and the New Patriotic Party government must do whatever it takes to resolve the challenges to better the lives of citizens.

The Parliamentary candidate lambasted people calling on Ghanaians to first fix themselves before instead of pouring out the blame on political leaders. She labelled such tasks as an insult since the ordinary Ghanian cannot fix themselves once the country is broken.

"Our roads are bad, gutters are choked, the lighting system is not steady, increment of fuel is knocking at our doors all times hence the lament of Ghanian youth pointing government by their words to fix the country immediately," she said

"Ghanaians are suffering on many things that's why Mr President has to fix the country immediately," she added.

Honourable Phillis Naa Koryoo Akunor addressed the Media whiles honouring the Songhi National Chief imam , Sheik Abdul Malik Rahman Maiga invitation at the Quranic Recitation commentary held at Kasoa on Sunday evening around 5:00 pm.
