Zimbabwe to open new Chinese-built parliament

Emmerson Mnangagwa, the president of Zimbabwe, will officially inaugurate a new 650-seat parliament in the city of Harare on Wednesday.
According to the clerk of parliament, President Mnangagwa will use the occasion to give a state of the nation address, according to the state-run publication Herald.
The national budget for 2023 will be presented by the finance minister the following day, the report continues.
