In the fight against bribes, tax workers will "wear body cams"

Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) claims it would start utilizing body-worn cameras among its workers to deal with tax dodging and bribery, its head is reported as saying by the local Business Daily newspaper.

According to the article, employees in the domestic tax department and customs and border control will mostly use body cameras.

Some KRA staff have been accused of amassing properties that are not congruent with their compensation.

"Very soon, we'll also make sure that our law enforcement personnel are outfitted with body-worn cameras, similar to those you see in the US so that we can watch and record whatever they do.

We'll have to comprehend why you put it off as well, KRA Commissioner General Githii Mburu reportedly said.
