Some traders in Kintampo of the Bono East Region have raised concerns about the poor state of their market calling on responsible agencies to do needful.

These agencies have however not heeded any of the complaints by the traders.

The chairman of Yam Sellers Association Mr. Daniel Dapaah complained about the poor road network in the market.

He said traders find it hard to transport goods and other services from the market to other places. He indicated that the roads are completely bad and trucks could spend several hours before conveying food items from the market to other places.

According to him, the situation has become worst with the rainy season and it is having an adverse effect on their business.

He appealed for the improvement of roads to ease the transport of goods and commodities.
