The mother of two revealed in a recent interview with Graphic Showbiz that the reason behind her continued success in the field is her unwavering determination to quiet those who questioned her ability and thought her achievements were inadequate.

She emphasized that despite the challenges she had faced along the way, conquering hardship had fueled her ambition to succeed.

"I get inspiration from the difficulties I encounter. Knowing the number of people who want to see me fail gives me strength. That's where my bravery comes from.

Because of my ability, both men and women who were my coworkers have mistreated and undermined me.Despite occasionally working for the same company, I have noticed that many people in our field are less tolerant of their hardworking peers.

However, I'm a warrior. "Up until now, I have battled my way through. You can sometimes become what you permit. You can't stop me, I promise. "In some of these internal conflicts, my producer Nii Kwasi Lartey has been a great support," the woman remarked.

The radio host feels she has put in enough effort to establish herself as a well-known DJ and presenter, and that is the legacy she wishes to leave behind. She is moving from her beginnings as an MC to refining her abilities as a diverse voice-over artist.

Ohemaa Woyeje says she would like to be known as a trailblazer than as a simple copycat. "I want my name to be connected to creativity," she says.

Apart from her remarkable on-air character, Ohemaa Woyeje has received numerous esteemed awards. Among these accolades, the Ghana DJ Awards' Best Female Radio Disc Jockey (DJ) of the Year in 2021, the Pan-African Heroes Honours' Most Authentic Voice on Radio in 2020, and the Ghana DJ Awards' Radio Personality of the Year in 2020 at Ghana Outstanding Women Awards in the same year.

In addition to being the author of 2D Experience, an autobiography that details her remarkable two-decade career in the media, Ohemaa Woyeje is currently reading Law.
