Actress, Yvonne Nelson, begs God for forgiveness as she says bad Ghanaian leaders are a punishment from God.

Yvonne Nelson claims Ghanaians are suffering from the sins of their forefathers.

According to the actress/producer, the evil luck that Ghanaians have had with bad leaders in the past few years must be a punishment from God.

She claimed that the punishment is a result of the evil doings of Ghanaians since Ghana began till now and will only be forgiven if Ghanaians cry out for forgiveness.

Taking to her Twitter page to express her frustrations, Yvonne Nelson asked for honest leaders who would have the interest of Ghanaians in mind from God. 

“Whatever we did wrong,,,, God pls. Whatever our ancestors did wrong, pls. We are tiiiiired! FORGIVE US. This wickedness must end! Change our hearts…….give us HONEST leaders who will move this continent forward pls. Amen”.

Many Ghanaians on social media lookup to Yvonne Nelson who in the past led a demonstration to drum home the need for the government to fix 'dumsor' during the administration of John Dramani Mahama for direction and change.

Over the past few years, she has created a niche for herself on Twitter, constantly advocating for change and asking Ghanaians to hold their leaders accountable for whatever actions or inactions they make.

Alongside the likes of Lydia Forson and Efia Odo, the trio has been recently pushing the #FixTheCountry which advocates for change in all sectors.

Yvonne Nelson has been vocally against both Akufo-Addo and John Mahama in separate administrations when both leaders refused to do the needful.

She is one of the few Ghanaian celebrities tha5 cannot be accused of partisan politics or attacking administrations secretly in favour of the opposition party.
