The BBC discovered that there are still hundreds of videos online featuring a Kenyan Christian cult leader whose former followers claim they were made to fast.
Although references to followers sacrificing what they hold dear, including their lives, can be found in the dozens of videos we've watched, there is no direct evidence that Pastor Paul Mackenzie has specifically commanded people to fast.
The sermons posted on YouTube and comments made on a Facebook page linked to a television station he once owned show a man who was vehemently opposed to formal education and believed it to be wicked.
While some of the videos appear to have been shot after Pastor Mackenzie's church was shut down four years ago, others appear to have been taken before.
