West Ham United have reportedly tabled a £15million bid for Rennes defender Nayef Aguerd.
Aguerd is a top West Ham target as they look to strengthen with a new senior central defender, Football Insider reveals.
But the Ligue 1 club are expected to reject it as they look to keep hold of their star centre-back.
Rennes are playing hardball and the Hammers could have to turn to alternative targets if they continue to do so.
Manager David Moyes is expected to bring in a new centre-back before the end of the transfer window.
