Jack Grealish has signed a six-year contract with Manchester City.

The Aston Villa man completed his record-breaking £100m transfer representing the biggest transfer in English football following Paul Pogba’s £93.25m from Juventus in 2016 to rejoin Manchester United.

Grealish enjoyed a fine season with his boyhood club before sparkling at the just ended Euro 2020 tournament where he contributed to wheel the Three Lions to the final of the competition only to lose the final to Italy on home soil.

Pep Guardiola, according to the 25-year old signing was a bigger factor in joining the Premier League champions and his influence in the game was a dream he longed wished to be part of.

“Playing under the best manager in the world was something I couldn’t really turn down,” Grealish told mancity.com in his first interview as a City player.

“When I came here this morning I had a long chat with him about positions. It was all football.

“It was such a positive chat. It shows why I want to play under him.

“I have heard nothing but good words about him from the lads at England and I can’t wait to get started.

“In the end, it was something I couldn’t turn down. Let’s hope it’s a successful one.”

Jack Grealish will wear the number 10 jersey in the new season.
