We have never deported Adwoa Fowaa and her family from the community-Wassa Mampong Traditional Council
Bibiani Circuit on the first week of July 2023, sentenced the son of Wassa Mampong Queen mother, Adeakyebia into 8 years imprisonment for defining a eleven year old daughter of Adwoa Fowaa and after the verdict, Adwoa Fowaa alleged that the Queen mother of the area, Nana Obaatanpa Akosua Mmrah III has deported her from the town.

The traditional authorities of Wassa Mampong in the Upper Denkyira West District of the Central Region, have debunked allegation on the public that, the traditional leaders have deported a lady called Adwoa Fowaa from the community for leading a crusade has ended with the sentence of the son of the Queen mother of Wassa Mampong.
Bibiani Circuit on the first week of July 2023, sentenced the son of Wassa Mampong Queen mother, Adeakyebia into 8 years imprisonment for defining a eleven year old daughter of Adwoa Fowaa and after the verdict, Adwoa Fowaa alleged that the Queen mother of the area, Nana Obaatanpa Akosua Mmrah III has deported her from the town.
Speaking to journalists, the spokesperson for the Wassa Mampong Traditional Council who doubles as the senior linguist of Wassa Mampong Traditional Council, Nana Kwasi Boah said that, the traditional council has no idea about the alleged deportation of Adwoa Fowaa in the community.
He pointed out that the traditional processes of deportation of a citizen per the tradition cannot take place without the consent of the entire traditional council.
He said, the traditional council do respect rule of law and have no right to turn against the verdict of court of jurisdiction in the country.
He assured that, the traditional council will make sure that, the lady in question enjoy every benefits in the community as a citizen and appealed to the general public to ignore such allegations.
In her part, the Queen mother of Wassa Mampong traditional council, Nana Obaatanpa Akosua Mmrah III also added that, she has never lead any process to deport Adwoa Fowaa and her family from the community.
She stressed that she has never plan to kill her as she claims and it is her prayers that, the little child(victim) recovered from her sickness to continue her education.
Some traders at the community also refuted allegations leveled against them for honoring the directives from the Queen mother Nana Obaatanpa Akosua Mmrah III, not to sell any items to Adwoa Fowaa in the market as false.
