The Civil and Local Staff Association, Ghana (CLOSAG), has disassociated itself from the Trade Union Congress over strike action.
According to the group, a publication by Daily graphic where TUC is threatening the government to go on strike if they(government) fail to meet their demands on the negotiation table CLOSAG does not support it.
Executive Secretary of CLOSAG, Mr. Isaac Bampoe Addo said due to the recent unfortunate development on the Labour front, they are unable to collaborate with the trade union Congress(Ghana) in the celebration of this year's May Day.
He added the CLOSAG will independently, organize activities in all the 16 regions of the country in commemoration of the important landmark in the annals of workers' struggle.
