Volta Dam Spillage Disaster:NDC North Tongu Chairman Support Victims With Relief Items
Prior to the donation, the hardworking chairman visited the flood areas within the North Tongu Constituency under his jurisdiction to assess the level of impact of the disaster on the affected communities.

NORTH TONGU Constituency Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Volta Region, Mr C. K. Akaho-Tay, has present some assorted relief items to the flood victims within the constituency who were affected following Akosombo and Akuse dams spillage which has caused flood disaster to thousands of people living along the Volta Basin.
On October 29, 2023 Mr Akaho Tay also donated relief items to the flood victims at Mepe Degorme.
Some of the items donated include, Gari, Oil, Tin Tomatoes Rice, Sugar among others.
Prior to the donation, the hardworking chairman visited the flood areas within the North Tongu Constituency under his jurisdiction to assess the level of impact of the disaster on the affected communities.
During his tour of the affected communities, Mr Akaho-Tay interacted and commensurate with the people of the communities and assured them of his commitment to ensuring that they regain their human dignity as he works with stakeholders to bring relief items to them.
Addressing the affected persons at the durbar, he reiterated his firm commitment to assuring their well-being in such trying times.
