VGM is a problem for me._ Nanky
Nanky, a well-known specialist in Afropop, highlife, and Afro RnB music, has complained about the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
Shortly after starting his music career, the Ghanaian musician captivated the hearts of Ghanaians.
He received the Unsung Award at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) in 2021 as a result of his contributions to the industry being recognized.
The highlife artist thought that after achieving such a feat, the award's sponsors would give him a small boost in the business so he could establish a reputation for himself in Ghana's entertainment, but he was disappointed to learn that VGMA offered him no assistance.
He said during a guest appearance on Hitz FM's Daybreak Hitz that if the scheme had given him a little more help, he would have advanced far in the business, but they preferred to leave him to his fate.
I have a problem with the VGMA, he declared. After winning the Unsung Category, I anticipated receiving greater support from them. Whoever wins the category must have a hidden goal, but they left me to my fate.
Despite this loss, he said that he didn't give up hope, noting that he now has a strong team behind him, which gives him optimism for a better future.
Thank goodness, I have a strong team behind me that encourages and challenges me. My fashion is unique.
