Upper Manya Krobo MP Has Desilted Major Gutters In Asesewa Township
This is a perennial situation in Asesewa which requires the intervention of the relevant authorities of the District Assembly. But no attention is paid to the imminent danger this bridge poses to motorists.

A major gutter which is close to a Gas Filling station and runs across the main road into the Asesewa township was desilted by the Member of Parliament for the Upper Manya Krobo constituency, Honourable Bismark Tetteh Nyarko.
This gutter, when filled with debris and silt during the rainy season makes the road impassable and poses a great danger to motorists, life and property.

Last week was the second time in three years that the Honourable Member of PARLIAMENT for the Upper Manya Krobo constituency, Comrade Bismark Tetteh Nyarko is undertaking the desilting of the gutter in order to save life and property.
Pictures show Honourable Nyarko interacting with the District Officials of Community Water and Sanitation Agency (CWSA) whose pipeline was damaged during the exercise.
This damage came at an extra cost of over GHC 7000. 00 to the MP.
One therefore wonders why the revenue collected by the Agency is not used for maintenance in the discharge of a social responsibility in the interest of the people in the catchment area.
