Prioritize a cleaner environment - Mayor of Tamale urges residents

The Mayor of Tamale, Hon. Sule Salifu has urged residents of the Metropolitan to prioritize a cleaner environment in order to improve health and living standards.  

Hon. Sule made the call when he joined the good people of Nyohani yesterday Saturday for a clean-up exercise organized by SAGANI TV.

Since taking office, the Mayor has consistently championed the need for a cleaner Tamale and has always made himself available for all initiatives to ensure this clamorous call.

Residents of Nyohani, both old and young, came out in joined the exercise to ensure that their surroundings were clean.

In his post-exercise address, the mayor thanked SAGANI TV and the people of Nyohani for a job well done and urged all media houses and electoral areas in the metropolis to work together to ensure a cleaner Tamale for the overall well-being as people.

The mayor further proceeded to the Warizeehi electoral area, a suburb of Tamale where TIZAA BROTHERHOOD had organized a health walk and a community clean-up exercise.
