The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) reports that two rainstorms are expected to hit the country on Friday, June 10th, according to its weather monitoring station.
Heavy rain will occur in the coastal and northern regions, accompanied by high gusts and thundery conditions.
The hurricane that is arriving from the Eastern Gulf will affect Greater Accra, the Western Region, and the Volta Region.
This is according to the forecast, which was issued at 6:00 a.m. on Friday.
The storm is also likely to hit Accra, Axim, Aflao, Ho, and Saltpond.
Another storm, seen over northern Ghana, is predicted to deliver thunderstorms and showers, according to the prediction.
Kintampo, Tumu, Bole, Bawku, Yendi, and Tamale are among the areas that would be affected.
