The founder of the foundation, Prophetess Ruth Natei told that God gave her a revelation to provide the Apuwongo community with assistance.

A Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) based in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana known as Ruth Natei Foundation has donated a borehole to the people of the Apuwongo community under the Bongo District in the Upper East Region.

According to the assemblyman for the area, Mr Apolunge Roger Abugre, access to potable water is very challenging to the Apuwongo community, which has a population of over three thousand (3,000) with only eight functional Borehole.

He revealed that the Borehole will serve 15 per cent of the population in the community and he is very grateful to the Ruth Natei foundation.

The founder of the Ruth Natei foundation, prophetess Ruth Natei speaking at the handing over ceremony of the Borehole to the community she said, she sees it as part of her contribution to the development of Ghana and service to humanity as a woman of God.

According to the prophetess, it was the spirit of God that directed her to the Upper East Region to provide the Apuwongo community with assistance as done for some other communities.

She however told she never knew the lack of the community but the Almighty God revealed to her their challenge hence the need for them to believe in God.

Some of the community members express joy and happiness for the Borehole. They thanked Ruth Natei foundation for her kindness and ask for God's blessing upon her life and the foundation.
