Thugs destruct NPP presser; chase Abronye with weapons

Heavily built men alleged to be supporters of Dormaahene, Osadeayo Osagyefo Agyamang Badu II stormed Regent Resort Hotel to cause stir at a press conference held by the Bono Regional

 chapter of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The armed men besieged the venue oto stop the press conference organized by Kwame Baffoe, popularly called Abronye, the Bono NPP Regional Chairman for his constant verbal attack on the traditional ruler.
It took the timely intervention of Police/Military to prevent what could have turned into a bloody situation between supporters of NPP and the angry youth who were chanting war songs.
The press conference addressed by Kwame Baffour was later moved to Henpon Hotel under Police/Military protection.
This comes after Chairman Abronye attacked the Dormaa at the said press conference accusing him of working on the interest of the opposition NDC.
The Bono Regional Chairman for the rulling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe know in open politics as Abrong DC earlier at the press conference called on the Paramount Chief for Dormaa Traditional Area, Osagyefo Oseadeyo Agyemang Badu II to consider handling his throne to his kingmakers to enable him join the NDC in open politics.
According to Bono Regional Chairman of the governing NPP,  the traditional ruler has lost respect of the people because the latter has unjustifiably criticized the Akufo-Addo government.
“Dormaahene should abdicate his seat as you traditional ruler and join NDC. He has lost respect of the people and has brought disgrace to the people of Dormaa”, Abronye fumed.
This is what did not go well with the aggry youth supporting the chief hence besieging the press conference premises to cause confusion if not for the immediate intervention of the security agencies .
