Thieves butcher Security Man, steal factory materials worth thousands of dollars

Samia Osei, the owner of the proposed poultry farm appeals to the general public to help them retrieve the stolen items from the thieves an amount of 2,000gh cedis will be given as a gift to the person.

Some unknown thieves have butchered one security man at Gomoa Techeama in the Gomoa West District in the Central Region on Wednesday dawn around 4:30 am in a proposed poultry farm projects sites and successfully made away with metals meant for the construction of the poultry farm.

According to the owner of the proposed poultry farm Samia Osei, in an interview with Central Regional Soireenews Correspondent, Abusuapanyin Kojo Ahinful said, the thieves went there around 1:45 am, butchered one of the security men to death and locked them up.

They then stole almost a quarter of the building materials that were imported from China worth about 500,000 US dollars.

The stolen items contain beams, stainless steel poles, doors etc.

This unfortunate incident has put the project on hold.

She, therefore, entreated the public to help them retrieve the stolen items as the person will be given more than 2,000gh cedis as a gift. 

The poultry farm when completed, will create employment as well as other developments to Techeama and neighbouring communities.

Gomoa West District Police conveys the body to the Apam Government Hospital morgue for investigations.
