At Gomoa Dominase Junction on the Kasoa Winneba high route, a 50-year-old corn mill man operator Mr. Kwaku Owusu was murdered by an overspeeding car.
According to eyewitnesses who spoke with soireenews reporter for the central region, the car overtook the old guy who was crossing to the other side of the road while on his way home from work.
As a result, they petitioned the Gomoa East district assembly to build a speed ramp at Dominase Junction and the onion market junction.
Every day, they claimed, automobiles knocked down people in that neighborhood.
They also intimated that numerous people had been killed by vehicles in that region, particularly at the Dominase onion market crossroads, and that if the district refuses to build the speed ramp, they will take the law into their own hands.
The body of the elderly guy has been deposited at a mortuary, and police are working to apprehend the motorist who fled after killing the man.
