Prefos Company Limited, an Electrical Engineering Service has donated hospital, sanitation and toiletry items to the Tafo Government Hospital in the Tafo Municipality of the Ashanti Region to help reduce the challenges facing the renowned hospital.
A cash amount of Gh¢10,000 (100million) was presented to the hospital including toiletries, waste bins, cartons of milk, purified bottles of drinking water, and others worth about Gh¢30,000 (300million).
Speaking to the media after the donation, the I.T Manager for the company, Mr Thomas Dwomoh said, they first met with the authorities of the hospital before the donation and the items presented were those items the hospital needed most.
He, therefore, urged the general public, especially the well-to-do Ghanaians, philanthropists and others to follow in their footsteps by coming to the aid of the hospital.
Madam Francisca Acheampong, who is the Senior Supply Officer in charge of the Non-Drugs store received the items on behalf of the hospital and thanked the company for coming to support the hospital.
She, therefore, added that there are a lot of challenges facing the hospital and if people are coming to their aid to supply the hospital, equipment such as Thermometers, Hospital beds, Wheelchairs and others are what they are looking unto either the government or other philanthropists to support them with such equipment.
