Tesano Zongo, Greater Accra: MCE Supports Fire Outbreak Victims 

Municipal Chief Executive for Ayawaso West, Honorable Sandra Owusu Ahenkorah has presented some relief items to the victims whose properties were destroyed by fire at the Tesano Zongo in Accra on Wednesday, February 2nd, 2022 as support to rebuild their homes.

The items presented include; mattresses, bedspreads, blankets, and food items.

"In all, about twenty victims were identified as having suffered various levels of losses as a result of the unfortunate fire incident including a six-bedroom house. 

Speaking to the victims, Chief Executive of the Ayawaso West Municipal Assembly, Hon. Sandra Owusu Ahenkorah said looking at the magnitude of the damage caused by the inferno, the government could not have looked unconcerned hence the financial assistance to help cushion victims in these times of unexpected challenges. 

She said the emergency support was designed to mitigate the effect of the incident on their homes and businesses adding that a rigorous transparent process was undertaken to determine the level of support to each victim. 

Speaking a word of encouragement to the family who has got their rooms burnt, she pleaded with the public, corporates, and entities to set in to grant a relief package to the victim of Tesano Zongo fire outbreaks.
