Tension Brews In Bosome Freho As Assembly Members Angry At DCE
Assembly members within the bosom Freho District of the Ashanti Region are currently on a serious manhunt for their District Chief Executive (DCE), Mr. Yaw Danso who has run away to seek refuge from some bigwigs of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Jubilee House in Accra.

Assembly members within the Become Freho District of the Ashanti Region are currently on a serious manhunt for their District Chief Executive (DCE), Mr. Yaw Danso who has run away to seek refuge from some bigwigs of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Jubilee House in Accra.
The DCE was reported to have angered the
assembly members led by Mr. Antwi Boasiako Isaac, Mr. Boakye De-graft, and Mr. Amako Mensah for showing gross disrespect to them, which situation the Assembly members have stated had retarded development in the district.
The Assembly members numbering over 32 have accused the DCE of being the brain behind the frequent changings of the Members of Parliament (MPs) every four years since the Become Freho Constituency is one of the electoral strongholds of the NPP.
He was accused by the Assembly members of running automatic leadership of the Assembly.
The issue has affected the operations of the assembly members because it has become very difficult for them to coordinate
According to the reliable source, Mr. Danso who has defaulted himself with uncountable standing orders of the assembly is now running away after the assembly members have threatened to pass a "Vote of No Confidence against him.
The source further revealed that Mr. Danso who initially pretended to be sick, thus after he was invited by the honorable members to appear before the Public Relations and Complainant Committee of the Assembly chaired by the Presiding Member (MP) has now gone to the Jubilee House to see some bigwigs of the NPP who can beg on his behalf.
Following this development, the assembly members have vowed to unseat the DCE who has taken the assembly's rules into his own hands as though it's a household property. "Come what may, this DCE must go," they said.
The assembly members now at loggerheads with the DCE noted that there is no development in the Become Freho district including Bobiem, the hometown of Mr. Yaw Danso.
When contacted via telephone call on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, to get his side of the allegations leveled against him, the DCE simply responded to Soireenews.com; "As for me I am not ready to comment on that matter."
