Techiman South MP and BACCSOD Disburse Ghc1 million interest-free loans to 375 Traders in Techiman. 

Speaking to the media in Techiman during a short ceremony to disburse the funds to traders who have received business training, Honourable Adjei-Mensah Korsah revealed that, this is the second phase of his loan initiative and the money was secured from BACCSOD Ltd, a private Financial Services Company belonging to the Roman Catholic Church.

In his quest to improve the lives of his Constituents, the Member of Parliament for Techiman South Constituency Honourable Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah who also is a Deputy Minister for Local Government, Decentralization, and Rural Development has secured a total sum of One Million Ghana Cedis Ghc1000, 000.00 to be disbursed to about 375 traders as loans without interests to boost their various businesses in the area.

Speaking to the media in Techiman during a short ceremony to disburse the funds to traders who have received business training, Honourable Adjei-Mensah Korsah revealed that, this is the second phase of his loan initiative and the money was secured from Brong Ahafo Catholic Co-operative for Social Development BACSOD Ltd, a private Financial Services Company belonging to the Roman Catholic Church.

He added that about a thousand 1000 traders have so far benefited from the loan scheme and his non-profit organization MIKAM Foundation will pay off all interest charges on the monies given out to ease the burden on the beneficiaries.

Meanwhile, some Women from Techiman Market who mostly are beneficiaries of this loan expressed their gratitude and thanked the MP, and pledged to work harder and pay back the loans for others to benefit from the initiative from the MP.
