Techiman North DCE hails Akufo-Addo government for improving education 

Acting District Chief Executive (DCE) for Techiman North in the Bono East region, Peter Mensah has hailed the Akufo-Addo led government for improving education in the area and across the country.

According to him, the NPP government through policies and projects introduced and perfectly executed by the various MMDAs has proven beyond all reasonable doubts that the country's transformational agenda partly depends on education. Mr. Peter Mensah said this when he handed over 200 dual desks and 800 uniforms to some seven (7) selected schools in the District.

He, therefore, calling for the collective efforts of all stakeholders in ensuring the District achieves the best in education. He also charged authorities to ensure maintenance culture for the desks to last longer.

On her part, Madam Theresa Kpebu, Techiman North District Director of Ghana Education Service who received the dual desks and uniforms on behalf of the beneficiary schools expressed gratitude to Assembly and government for the gesture and called for more support.
