The Ejisu Municipal Assembly has overwhelmingly endorsed the Municipal Chief Executive nominee, Hon Samuel O. Frimpong by 95% of votes.
An emergency meeting was held to verify the applicant revealed by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo through the Ministry of Local Government and Decentralization led by Dan Botwe on September 12, 2021.
The total number of Assembly members expected to vote was 40 and the nominee needed 2/3 of the members.

The MCE Hon. Samuel O. Frimpong was grateful to H.E. President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo for the trust and confidence in his abilities and promised to continue doing my best work at all times for the growth of the Ejisu Municipal.
He appreciated the support received from the Member of Parliament, Hon. John Kumah, the Ashanti Regional Minister and the entire Assembly Members.
Hon. Samuel O. Frimpong replaces Hon Serwaa Derkye.
