Mincing no words, Mr Mordzaka indicated his readiness work hard with the constitueny executives to wrestle the parliamentary seat from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2024 general, calling on the constituents to give the NDC the opportunity in the 2024 general elections to lead the constitueny for the desired development they are yearning for.
According to him, the complete lacked of development in the area has attested to the fact the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP), Mr. Sylvester Tetteh has woefully failed the constituents due to the fact that not much has been done by the NPP MP and it was sad that the people's allegiance to the NPP is not paying off.
He maintained that the electoral voting records in the constitueny of the NDC from the 2016 and 2020 clearly shows that the NDC would surely wrestle the parliamentary seat from the NPP MP in the 2024 and increased the presidential votes for the part to be successful.
"We believe and it is our hope with a lots of good policies we have put in place to raise the living standards of the constituents in the area,, the eligible voters in the area would give the opportunity to the NDC to lead them in the 2024 polls," he stated.
On the parliamentary candidate for the NDC in the area, Mr Mordzaka indicated that they work with whoever emerged victorious after the parliamentary primaries of the NDC in the area.
"It is my sole responsibilities to market whoever win the parliamentary candidate on the ticket of the NDC and area to win the parliamentary seat and subsequently lead us to win the presidential slot," Mr. Mordzaka stressed.
He denied claims that the Bortianor-Ngleshie-Amanfrom constituency is the electoral voting World Bank of the governing NPP, saying that that has been the electoral voting records of the area in the Greater Accra Region.
He welcomed the clarion calls on the delegates from many supporters and members of the NDC to vote massively to ensure the retention of the current regional executives particularly the chairmen of the party in the 16 regions to help champion the polices and courses of the NDC to win the 2024 general elections.
He maintained that "as far as he has worked with the current regional executives, and just about the way he has been able to win his chairmanship position with an incretment of the vote margins of 1,150. And that they have they been able to increase their vote margins to win the number of the seats in the region.
"Hence it is my believe that the majority of them would be endorsed to continue their tenure in the office since they have gotten the experience. I also believe that they would work hard again to bring back number of seats we lost in the 2020 election. Following this development so l believe that everyone to be given the opportunity to serve again," Mr Mordzaka suggested.
Logistics Constraints
Mr Mordzaka stressed the urgent need for the part to provide them with enough electoral logistics and resources including vehicles for them to start going to the various polling stations within the constitueny to carvass for the votes of the party since they had already sworn into the office.
He complained that lacked of vehicles to use to campaign in the previous elections had also affected their chances to get targeted results from the votes cast in the area.
"Currently, we have two vehicles and needed additional four vehicle to ease our movement within the constitueny," he appealed and called on the supporters and members of the area to wrestle the Bortianor Ngleshie Amanfro Constituency parliamentary seat from the NPP in the 2024 polls.
