Gomoa East NDC Executive have been cautioned to stop portraying himself as MP
Mr Anthony Effisah

The National Democratic Congress Executives and party members in the Gomoa East District of the Central region have strongly sent a warning to the Former New Patriotic Party Member of Parliament, Honourable Kojo Asumanyi not to portray himself as the current MP.

According to the aggrieved executives, Honourable Kojo Asumany is no more Member of Parliament in the Gomoa East District.

The NDC Party Executive and members referred to the Local Government Law that if a person is not a government official, he cannot commission government projects once he is no more in power yet it has turned vice versa in the Gomoa East District when the former MP commissioned project in the absence of the current MP.

They have, therefore, called on National Investigation Bureau (NIB) and other security agencies in the Gomoa East to call Honourable Kojo Asumanyi to order

The District Chief Executive for Gomoa East, Honourable Solomon Darko Quame as part of the misunderstanding has ignored the current MP in such a Way that, anytime there is commissioning of a project, he unlawfully invites the former than calling the current MP.

They have therefore urged the Security Service to put matters in order before chaos erupts someday.
