Suspension Of Ayawaso West  Wuogon NDC Chairman, Bismark  Aborbi-Ayittey Is a Completely Hoax! Chairman Ashie Moore Clears The Air

Ghanaians public, particularly the rank and file of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Greater Accra have been called to disregard the current ill-fated letter being written by the Greater Accra Regional Secretary of the NDC, Mr.Theophilus Tetteh Chaie announcing the suspension of the NDC Chairman for Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency, Mr.Bismark Aborbi-Ayittey.

According to the accredited Greater Accra Regional Executives Committee headed by Mr, Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore, they had not suspended Mr Aborbi-Ayittey who doubles as the Public Relations Officer (PRO) for Greater Accra Regional Constituency Chairmen of the NDC.

They stressed that to the best of their knowledge, Mr. Aborbi-Ayittey is still at the post performing his chairmanship duties, tasks, and responsibilities and called on the general public to treat the letter of Mr. Tetteh Chaie as null and void.

In the said letter, Mr. Tetteh Chaie writes that" the Regional Executive Committee at its sitting on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, has suspended you,
Mr.Bismark Aborbi-Ayittey, the Constituency Chairman for Ayawaso West Wuogon for six months for addressing a press conference on internal party issues against the advice of the implication of your actions.

The letter which was signed by Mr Tetteh Chaie continued that "Your conduct was in breach of the article (48) 8 and 49 (c) of the party's constitution, (as amended at the 9th Congress).

Consequently, you have been suspended and referred to Regional Disciplinary Committee by Article 48 (1).

You are directed to hand over all party properties in your possession to the constituency Vice Chairman until the matter has been adjudicated upon.

But in a quick response, Mr. Ashie Moore in a counter letter on behalf of the accredited Constituency Executives Committee of the region distanced themselves from the letter written by Mr Tetteh Chaie announcing the suspension of Mr. Aborbi-Ayittey.

Mr. Ashie Moore expressed their lack of association with the letter by Tetteh Chaie, urging the public to treat the suspension of Mr. Aborbi-Ayittey as contempt.

Below is the counter letter which detailed the events that unfolded at the meeting.
