A man believed to be in his 40s suspected to be a thief has been beaten to death this dawn at Kasoa-Walantu around Blue Rose Estate in the Central Region.

The Awutu Senya East Municipal NADMO Coordinator, Mr Kwame Amoah said, his outfit received a distressful call from a resident at Kasoa-Walantuin and the resident informed him about the death of an unknown man in the area.

On that note, Mr Kwame Amoah said that his team went to the scene to verify what he has been briefed and on arrival, behold there laid a naked dead body with blood all over his body

What the team got from their initial assessment presupposed that the man was beaten yet it will take an official investigation to be able to know the real cause of his death.

Mr Amoah said Kasoa District Police Command will send the body to the Police mortuary for further investigation

He, however, appealed to the Police Administration to as matter of urgency improve security in Kasoa because killing is becoming too many in Kasoa.

He admonished residents to desist from mob action and hand over any suspected thief to the police

On his side, the Assemblymember for the area, Hon Abdul Malik said, crime within the Walantu Electoral area is becoming unbearable, so, he is appealing to their member of parliament, Hon Hawa Koomson to provide them with street lights to help curb such barbaric activities of the criminals.
