Afenyo Markin has commissioned a 3-classroom block of African Christian Mission School At Sankor in Winneba in the Central Region.

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Afutu Constituency in the Central Region, Honorable Alexander Afenyo Markin, has called on the parents, particularly the mothers to teach their children moral decadence and good values to help them to become a successful children in the future.

"I am appealing to the parents to muter courage to punish their wayward children so as to guarantee their  future and redeem them from live failure rather than over-pampering them," he stressed.
This was contained in a speech by Honorable Markin during the commissioning and handing over of a fully furnished 3-classroom block of African Christian Mission School at Sankor in  Winneba.
According to the Legislator, he had a tough time growing up but his mother never covered up for him anytime he went astray.
 He said he was the only one who could made it to secondary school out of over twenty Children who grew up in the same compound because his mother never covered-up for him.
Honorable Markin disclosed that if mothers don't stop the attitude of covering up for the sins of their children the country will continue to suffer the consequences of bad leaders and promise the good people of Effutu of his selfless service to them.
 He promised them of a modern school library which, according to him, would be built and hand over to the school authorities before the go on Christmas break.

The Municipal Director of Ghana Education Service (GES), Mrs Judith Micah thanking the MP charged the school authorities to take good care of the facility.
She asked the legislator not to relent on his efforts to relieving the good people of Effutu from their needs and wants.
