Some Dressmakers Complain of Slow Return of Profits in Christmas.

Some Seamstress within Cape Coast Metropolis in the Central Region has describe their slow return of their businesss profits during the festive season as compared to previous years.

This they said, the low patronage of their services is due to the economic hardship in the country which has forced most of their clients not to patronize their services

According to some seamstress at Cape Coast - Abura, Madam Mary Mensah explained that, the previous year was better than this year, we thought we could make a lot of sales in this year but things has turned to be other and we are getting bad results this year, the system is hard, we are getting few fabrics to sew.

However the traders said, generally the high cost of living in the country has preventing people to sew since prices of garments and clothing materials has shot up discouraging their clients to come for their cloths sewn.

A visit to the dress makers indicated that most of the shops in the market were close in charismas and goods such as shoes, drinks, christmas accessories for decorations are all open for aales.

They therefore encouraged themselves and believe that it things turn around and definitely will get their return backs after the new year.
