Sissala West MP Escapes Gunmen Attack
The police in the Upper West Region have since announced to residents and management of health facilities to remain vigilant and report any suspect to the nearest police station.

Honourable Mohammed Sukparu Adams, the Member of Parliament for the Sissala West in the Upper West Region has been ambushed by unidentified gunmen in the constituency.
The incident occurred late Saturday evening, July 24, 2021, at about 8:00 pm between Jeffisi and Bullu Community.
The Member of Parliament who was with some of his constituency Executives however went unhurt.
A Community Member told Soireenews that, the story could have been deadly should the MP's security detail failed to respond swiftly.
According to him, the police exchanged gunshots with the gunmen, pointing out that one of the gunmen is believed to have sustained gun wounds.
Hon. Mohammed was in the Constituency to spend the Eid ul-Adha with the constituents but was confronted at the gunpoint.
