Seyram Glah Elected Assembly Member For Gamenu Electoral Area In South Tongu District

MEMBER of Communication Team of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Sayram Glah has been elected as a new Assembly Member for Gamenu Electoral Area in the South Tongu District of the Volta Region.

Mr Glah has contested the just ended District Assembly level election unopposed.

The under listed candidates were elected and reelected as the Assembly members in the various electoral areas of the South Tongu District.

The District Assembly elections took place on the 19th December 2023 at the various electoral areas the country.

South Tongu constituency boasts of 40 electoral areas with all the winners declared by the EC.

The election was peaceful and fair according to reports across the constituency. Earlier, we reported spotting the member of parliament, Hon Kobena Woyome casting his vote. But despite the results been fair, some areas recorded a low turn out. The majority of the seats were won by candidates standing on the tickets of the NDC which further boosts their confidence ahead of the 2024 general elections.
