The Acting Paramount Chief of Sefwi Bekwai Traditional Council, who doubles as the Chief of Sefwi Apemkrom in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality of the Western North region, Nana Kwasi Afful II has warned to indict media houses and entities issuing press statements in the name of Sefwi Bekwai Youth of Association.

Nana Kwasi Afful II affirmed unequivocally clearly that its outfit won’t condone anybody who tries to circumvent the alleged murder case which occurred at Sefwi Bekwai some months ago.
He stated that, one De-Graft Mensah, who holds himself as the youth leader in the Sefwi Bekwai must desist from such disrespectful behaviours, however calling on the media houses to avoid granting him (De-Graft Mensah) interview on any radio station about the said issue.

The traditional leader forewarned that any media house which contradicts itself and grant interview with unrecognised peoples, aside from the authorised individuals designated to do so, will face the wrath of the traditional authorities.
“There is a recognised youth group here backed by Nananom and the said De-Graft Mensah is not part of them. I prefer to take this space to warn all media houses here to avert granting an interview with the said De-Graft Mensah. Since he is not a recognised youth leader, we don’t know him. We won’t be stumbled to prosecute anybody or media house which engages the said character involving the supposed assassination case pending before court,” Nana Kwasi Afful II expressed.
He restated that the Traditional Council is doing all what it could to ensure the deceased Martha Tetteh gets justice, perhaps to purify the image of Sefwi Bekwai.

“We have not languished since the issue is inflamed and will never relax until there is justice. We are hailing on the public to remain impassive since we will ensure there is peace and justice.”
