According to him, "it is time for the people of Bono to unite and get its fair share of national development, saying'' we want Bonoman to be attractive to people and that could be achieved through a united front which required the support of all the chiefs living in the region.

The Paramount Chief of Fiapre traditional council in the Sunyani West Municipal of the Bono Region, Obrempong Professor Kym-Amponsah II, has called for unity among the chiefs in the Bono Region for effective development and progress.

According to him, "it is time for the people of Bono to unite and get its fair share of national development, saying'' we want Bonoman to be attractive to people and that could be achieved through a united front which required the support of all the chiefs living in the region.

He lamented that the backbiting, division, unnecessary disputes, and claims of properties are not healthy for nation-building but rather a recipe to retard the progress and development of our lives.

Obrempong Professor Kym-Amponsah II, made this call when he was addressing some citizens in the town at the enstoolment of Asia/Berlin top Gyaasehene and Gyaasehemaa of Fiapre.

He added that It is his wish that unity will prevail among all the traditional leaders to support their people to progress especially in the area of education, health, sanitation, industrialization, and other Infrastructural stead to uplift the lives of their people. 

Obrempong Professor Kym-Amponsah II said without unity the progress and development of the area would be affected, saying with unity ''we will be a formidable force and capable of doing anything".

He emphasized the need to develop human capital, especially that of the youth to be more responsible in society and enable them to serve their communities and country at large.

He advised the Gyaasehene and Gyaasehemaa to be humble and serve the people with dignity and always be careful with their utterances as well as exhibiting behaviors that depict traditional leaders.

The newly enstooled Gyaasehene and Gyaasehemaa were Okoyeredom Osei Bonsu Agyeman and Nana Afia Asiraa.
