Odion Ighalo scored thrice to help Al Wehda beat Damak 4-2 in a Saudi Arabia Professional Football League encounter.

The 34-year-old opened the scoring for his side in the 17th minute.

Ighalo converted from the spot late in the first half for his second of the game and then completed his hat-trick in the 52nd minute.

Ten minutes later Craig Godwin added Al Wehda's fourth before Sultan Faqihi netted with seven minutes remaining to half the deficit for Damac.

The ex-Watford star joined Al Wehda in the summer transfer window after leaving Al Hilal,

Ighalo, 34, has now netted four goals in the league, two goals shy of leading scorer Cristiano Ronaldo.

The former Super Eagles striker was Goal King in Saudi Arabia two seasons ago with 20 goals.

His club have now climbed to seventh on the table with nine points from five games.
